PR Firm’s Joy Working For Panache

A PR firm recently shared their joys over working for world recognized lingerie company Panache. Although just recently launched, Instinct PR, led by Jonathan Kirkby, has landed the coveted contract to handle the PR and communications work for Panache lingerie.

Jonathan Kirkby is the 2010 finalist for the CIPR Outstanding Young Communicator Award. Instinct pr launched only last year. Kirkby said that he has worked in the PR industry for 10 years and that setting up his very own agency was the next natural step.

Kirkby said that they work with great brands including Panache lingerie. They also do work for Lucinda Ellery and Puma.

“We are a consumer agency and our specialist areas are predominantly fashion, beauty and health. We also look after high profile events, such as Pixie Lott 21st birthday last month,” Kirkby shared.

Kirkby also said that with Panache lingerie as well as with other brands that his agency does work for, he creates a “strategy that ensures that the correct messaging is communicated to the correct media. We also focus on building strong relationships with journalists which results in strong, positive coverage.”

He also shared the main challenges facing the PR industry today. Kirkby said: “The media landscape has changed so much since I started working in PR. Obviously digital media means that stories now break really quickly, don’t linger for as long as they used to, and one small mistake can go everywhere! However, there are also a lot more exciting campaign and coverage opportunities to embrace; agencies just need to adapt to create press worthy campaigns.”

Swimwear Store To Re-Launch

A swimwear store is set to reopen at Brea Mall in Orange County. Two swimwear stores (Everything But Water) are reportedly set to reopen or re launch this month in Orange County. This, after being temporarily closed due to renovations.

The swimwear store will be located in Brea Mall. It will officially show off its new look tomorrow after it was temporarily closed on Jan. 2, while The Shops at Mission Viejo store was temporarily closed on Jan. 8 and is slated reopen on March 31.

According to representatives of the store, the stores were updated to give them a modern vibe.

“The new features of the 1,600 square foot store in Brea include gray driftwood slats on the exterior, cabana-like curtain accents in the fitting area, and displays of oversized fashion photos. The newly designed store provides a luxurious, modern, easy-to-shop experience and an exceptional collection of well-curated designer looks – from bikinis and cover ups to sundresses, jewellery and totebags – for the head-to-sandy-toe resort lifestyle,” said Sheila Arnold, president and CEO of Everything But Water.

The swimwear store will be located in a 1,600 square foot area and will also host a tropical themed grand opening event.

Customers can have their hair styled with fresh flowers, sip island-inspired drinks and receive a custom threaded bracelet. The store also is giving away a Votivo candle worth $10 for every purchase while supplies last.

Parents Worry Over New Adult Lingerie Store

Parents are now reportedly worried over proposals of an adult lingerie store opening in their community.

Plans by a Fargo adult lingerie store to open a similar business in Grand Forks have some parents worried. Parents are now calling for attention towards the matter.

Fantasy’s owner Kim Patterson has leased a former pizza shop in Grand Forks that’s near an elementary school and many child care centres. Apparently this does not sit well with the parents of the children enrolled in the elementary school and the child care centres.

Parents teachers org leader Laura Foss tells the Grand Forks Herald the group wants to find out more about the new shop. So do city officials.

For her part, however, store owner Patterson says most of the merchandise that she will sell already is available at other retailers. She says her Fargo store has been operating for nine years with no problems. She says she is a responsible adult lingerie store owner and that she will only sell sex toys to adults.

Patterson says the Grand Forks store will have a main room selling lingerie and costumes that will be open to all ages, and a back room with sex toys open only to adults.

Despite Patterson’s appeal, however, parents will still continue to raise the issue to proper authorities.

La Lilouche Introduces Sexy Lingerie

An Israeli designer has introduced sexy lingerie. Israel based designer Liya Amar has launched La Lilouche and its newest sexy lingerie pieces, which a lot of fashion pundits say are a mixture of naughty and nice.

Liya Amar said that her new sexy lingerie line includes intimates that use silk, satin silk, Swarovski crystals and chantilly lace. These, she says, add more curiosity to her sexy lingerie pieces. She added that she also uses other luxurious materials in order to add more allure to her sexy lingerie line.

Liya Amar started her professional designing career in 2010. Amar started La Lilouche in an effort to showcase pieces that highlight femininity and the female curves. She says that the sexy lingerie pieces included in La Lilouche Cosmic Love collection are geared towards women who want to embrace their femininity and who are not afraid to showcase their being females.

One piece is the “Alexa” lace bodysuit. This sexy lingerie item even has gemstones down the middle of the back. The item is made of sheer lace. The second sexy lingerie piece is the “George” balconette corset bra. The said corset bra is in a rich merlot colour and then finished off with black organza trimmings as well as Swarovski crystals. The third sexy lingerie piece included in La Lilouche is “Charlotte,” which is included specifically in the bridal lingerie line. A 1950’s inspired piece, the “Charlotte” sexy lingerie item has a bloomer design and is reminiscent of the old fashioned maids.
